Grants 2007

In 2007 the board of the Diabetes Research Foundation has decided to award a record 325,000 Euros for diabetes research. From this sum they have made one two-year grant (50,000 Euros per year), five large grants of 25,000 Euros each and 12 smaller grants between 4,000 and 15,000 Euros.

Sixty-five applications were received by the deadline, making the total funding applied for over 2.5 million Euros. For the two-year grants there were seven applications, for the larger grants there were 33 and for the smaller grants there were 25 applicants.
